@octo lmao yeah my bad. I was a bit stoned n loopy last night. Black*down* indeed. But the new tunes...they aren’t earth shattering or anything but easily my fav burial since truant/rough sleeper, no question. He just smuggled them into the world out of nowhere, no fanfare or anything. I respect it

because it's insanely good and brings out a very particular feeling in most people. I think if you never walked alone at night through deserted streets right after or during a light rain you're missing an essential piece of the puzzle.

It took a while for this to click for me, even when being a big electronic fan. It's one of those albums that really benefit from a certain personal mood and a "right" context for it to fully kick. Driving back home with this playing at late night was one of the times that this album really shined for me.
