Holy hell do people cum over this record WAY TOO F*CKING MUCH. Anyone who gives this a 5 really needs to listen to a lot more music and then judge. This album is really top heavy and recycles a lot of riffs/tricks/sounds throughout. Still very good but nowhere near a 5 IMO.

It's really not classic though.

It's a fantastic record from start to finish, but really it doesn't hold a candle to the rest of the competition for this year.

This really really wore off on me. I couldn't get enough of it at first but now when I get around to listening to it, I find myself just fast forwarding to my favourite parts or skipping entire songs, which didn't really happen for me with Kezia.

The exact opposite for me with those two albums. I almost always only listen to the last half of Kezia now, but I listen to all of this each time.

What I don't understand is how people say Spoils is the worst on this.

i guess everyone says heretics & killers is the worst on kezia because it's probably the least metal/technical song, and it has just a tad more pop appeal than the rest of that album. idk she who mars just seems to have the weakest structure imo. as far as fortress, spoils used to be my least favorite, but there's not really a weak song on this album and if i had to pick i'd go with goddess gagged.

Goddess Gagged and Spoils are definitely at the bottom two for me, but they each have great parts in them. They're just not as consistent as the other songs.



And Heretics and Killers is pretty fucking metal if you'd ask me. With a breakdown like that, how can that not be metal?

i'm not saying it's not metal, i'm saying in general what i've seen on this site in particular is the metalheads say H & K is their least favorite song, so i'm assuming it's because it's the "least metal" one. i mean to them it sounds the most like mainstream poppy metal i guess idk....why is it the worst song thor?
