This is probably better than most Opeth albums to be honest, even though I rarely ever listen to this anymore. It's definitely
not better than MAYH though.

It's probably one of the best concepts, but not the best album as a whole.

It's still a fucking FIVE.

MAYH is the only Opeth that beats this, and only just.

Leviathan comes close to this for me, but, giving it good thought, this is prob better.

I like Opeth and all, but I don't fanboy over them as much as I do for the Ryche. Love these guys too much, they're one of my Top 10 bands hard.

DeGarmo and Wilton were such a fantastic duo back in the day. They rival Downing and Tipton for me as far as guitar duos go. Wouldn't go as far as saying I particularly prefer one over the other though.

However, I'd take both duos over Smith and Murray.

Never been a real fan of V for Vendetta but I enjoyed it too.

I mention it since this album deals a lot with that "the government is too corrupt and it needs to be overthrown" sentiment that you can see in that movie.

I don't know of any movies outside V for Vendetta that have a story comparable to the one on this album.
