I haven't heard Oceanic, this was my first Isis record and to me, It falls just short of being great.
The album has it's moments, towards the middle it drags until the monotony is broken up by this post-
rock type song that is very quiet and builds nicely.
The one main gripe however, the drum sound on some of the tracks. They sound too loud and not mixed
well. It sounds like the guy is hitting on plastic bowls at some points.
Decent 7/10
