Can maybe hear some of the lead runs on Black Widow in, like, Blinded in Chains (Burn It Down has absolutely zero in common) but that's about it

i'll stick with Needled 24/7/Hate Crew Deathroll if I want Bodom bc that has a tasteful mix without getting so crazy "cheery" that I start thinking I'm listening to a song that's trying to subtly tell me depression isn't real without saying it. they've never been THAT cheesy to me but yeah.

My problem with the Dragonforce refs is that they're ALWAYS the band that gets mentioned when people don't know what other power metal band to reference

johnny, major, harm mi, diminished, whatever, the vibe i get from the hook is a jarring contrast to the rest of the song and i feel like in my usual mindsets i have to actively tune out the hook to get through it because everything else is kinda fine. the more progressive second half is what might bump my rating because there's some cool vibes over there.

koris tbh i just don't know a lot because i know i'd be polluting my rating charts with a lot of unnecessarily low ratings if i sat through 500 cheesy euro power metal albums and i don't like hate-listening.
