A fine album indeed. I may raise my score after subsequent listens, who knows

perhaps, then again maybe this site is just too predictable. I'm listening to stuff not even in the DB here, and several of my favorite albums either aren't here or have 3 ratings with no review. then these same threads get bumped every day.

i'm digging up 20 year old graves, and pulling out the dusty dry bones from the coffins. Polishing the skulls and creating a memorial to those forgotten.

I have tried to change what Valerius is talking about and uploaded the band Battered. Motherfuckers didn't display the cover art correctly, though. And they won't even correct a slip-up I made in the track listing. So I guess he is on to something.

the soundoff on it here pretty much sums it up. early(1986) swedish blackened death/thrash with some good riffage. youd prolly like it.

Friedman, in my opinion, is the greatest lead guitarist who ever played in metal (though his Japanese pop material severely distresses me). I've listened to so many awkward guitar solos over fast riffs (because frankly, it's hard to write passable solos over fast, heavy riffing), but he executes it flawlessly with exotic flair. It may be true that I allow my love for lead guitar to cloud my objectivity here, but I truly adore this album.
