-Kendrick's "shooooo" and "BEEBEEBEEBEE" are literally just him fuckin around. Ever since reappearing from his hiatus with "family ties" Kendrick has been a lot more willing to be playful and silly with some songs, complete with really stupid sounding adlibs. I think this is him telling Drake to "shooooo" in a really dumb and hype way to help illustrate that he's in this beef for beef. Part of Drake's attack angle was that Kendrick is on some hoity toity intellectual shit, but a big part of "euphoria" being effective was Kendrick stating that he doesn't care about anything but hating Drake. And, all these songs later, I think he's been proven right lol

-we now have confirmation that Drake did not plant the info (not that anyone who is sane believed it in the first place). It's not necessarily confirmation that Kendrick hasn't had violent incidents in the past or that Drake has a daughter, but I'd say it definitely further calls Drake's character into question so I am firmly in the "prove it" category with anything that Drake says. There's enough smoke with everything that Kendrick has said that I am inclined to believe it's true

-Drake has appeared to formally waved the white flag, although some insiders claim he's dropping a song today.

-It's so funny that the riddler has showed up at the eleventh hour to taunt and extort Drake lol

Man did this beef make for a fun vacation lol. Anywho Drake clearly got stomped both tactically and lyrically which has to hurt because he really did put up a good fight. The problem was the people he destroyed were the sideline characters and not Mr. Morale himself.

yeah, idk....I think Drake did better than I expected but his songs have aged horribly even in the span of a week. He got absolutely washed, and it has to sting a lot to see a song calling you an actual pedophile to completely smash records and be set up to be the song of the summer (at the time of writing this comment, Not Like Us is officially the rap song with the highest amount of streams in a day EVER, surpassing Drake's "Girls Like Girls" and is the fastest song to be certified Gold this year)

Currently, I don't think Drake's career is over but I do think this will permanently alter his character. Him being a predator has become a global punchline and his tracks are not doing the numbers they were predicted to do. His next project absolutely cannot be of the same quality that his last seven years of work have been, and I'm just not very confident of that fact. Without getting too in the weeds of rumors and speculation, it seems like a lot of people are distancing themselves from Drake and his group is in disarray right now. Things seem pretty damn bad in Drake Land rn lol

"Rapper Coolee Bravo confirms Drake paid him $150K for information on Kendrick Lamar's wife, Whitney, and admits he gave Drake false information. Also, Coolee Bravo says he laughed when he heard "Family Matters." "

"Drake originally told Akademiks when the artwork for "Meet The Grahams" dropped that the items were stolen from his father. Today, Akademiks confirmed those items were actually Drake's as he stayed in The Mark Hotel and that he is indeed taking ozempic....Akademiks admits Drake had no clue and didn't know where the daughter information came from. So Drake planting fake information information is a lie. "

sooo yeah looking like he wrote a whole response using his reddits conspiracy theories lmfao, what a 'legend.' i rec giving drakes subreddit a glance

I haven't done this anywhere else so im just gonna dump my thoughts on all of the beef here:

First Person Shooters is a fucking great song but Drake and Cole jacking each other off on it and then being like "Oh and Kendrick is cool too but hes not as good as us" definitely made the Like That verse hit disgusting hard. Like That is still the best beat in this entire feud imo. Then that Cole shit was just... sad. I love J Cole, I really do, and if this was just gonna be a beef about bars I dont think he wouldve apologized but we all saw what this turned into, but even with that excuse the 7 Minute Drill just isnt that good. Cole a shook one.

Push Ups is cute. I really like Drake on offense, that final verse about "Numbers-wise, I'm out of here, you not fuckin creepin up, Money-wise, I'm out of here, you not fuckin sneakin up" was FIRE. I just wish he didnt have to address all these side characters but I get it. Drake on his braggadocios im the real top dog shit is great. Then Taylor Made happened and it was uhhhhh bad. Not just sonically but tactically because thats how Drake single handedly turned an entire coast against him which might not have happened otherwise.

Euphoria SLAPS, my favorite song in this whole beef. This was the bar fest I wanted because I KNEW that Drake wasnt going to stop playing with Kendrick's family, he always brings up the women, so this was the final time we were getting Kendrick just shitting on Drake with skill alone. Love it. Doubling up with 6:16 In LA with that Al Green sample and the "have you ever thought that OVO is working for me" was the preview of what was to come.

Family Matters is great. It's so dope. Problem is that while Drake absolutely destroyed ASAP Rocky and other randos on that track he utterly failed to tackle Kendrick in any meaningful way and then Meet the Grahams just KILLED. That is one of the spookiest scariest fucking songs I've ever heard in my god damn life, it's a horror movie. And then to follow up that shit with the slappiest catchiest shit ever with Not Like Us? It was over right then, Drake lost. Heart Part 6 might as well not exist.

also kind of off topic but I have my doubts that Drake is really a drug addict when he says shit like “I took half a xan had me out like a light”
