i'm starting to feel this is better than LYSF. It's more interesting, better structure and more focused.
|
| |
Liking LYSF a lot more than this, but this'll probably grow
|
| |
it's the best album ever so yeah

But this album gives me an eerie feeling that hasn't worn off over time, the second part of Storm is the only thing i still really love about LYSF.

most post rock is very boring, monotonous and formulaic... but if those guys stand out maybe i'll check em

Almost all post rock is boring but and so I watch you from afar is damn fine

Yeah post-rock has become kind of a joke in recent years, from what i've heard anyway
Anyone looking for good non-GY!BE/Sigur Ros/Talk Talk/Slint post rock should take a look at Yndi Halda

you talk about post-rock being 'dead' or 'a joke' and then you recommend the one post-rock album that is literally everything wrong with modern post-rock in that it has no subtlety whatsoever
get the new leech album and the last years of rice and salt album and tell me post-rock is dead
