you're not wrong i need to chill out. sensitive to my comfort albums being harshly judged, its almost never personal ik but it sometimes feels that way, blocking out the noise would be healthier and I need to remind myself that, haven't been feeling great lately

their best song

I’ve already accepted the new one will likely be terrible, so maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised

Besties is the only song I like by them. The bcnr friends forever live whatever song is just as bad as this stuff tho, maybe worse

I liked this more when I felt like I could mentally tune out Isaac and focus on the solid instrumentals, the other members are carrying a pretty sizable load for me on this and I would likely 4 an instrumental version of this

I never got how people found the singer here that unlistenable but it is what it is and i certainly have bands i have the same type of gripe with

I have a hard time getting into deeper baritone voices as is, it gets even more difficult with basses like Peter Steele so there is that, and Isaac just has a tone that I don't jive with I guess and it's as simple as that

two songs in and it's already more tolerable than this lol

crazy what becoming a chamber prog group will do to a band (i don't count the live album, that was not good and was basically a rushjob)

edit: spoke way too soon

and thankfully Tyler has stopped doing the warbly vibrato shit she was doing before

I actually liked Tyler's singing, it had a lot of character compared to the others. I'm enjoying the more collaborative singing effort in the new singles though

It turns out I just despised the old guys vocals the new one reminds me a lot of classic Renaissance stuff. Digging it.

New one sounds like an Elvis Costello album. Not feeling it much.I haven't heard the crooning guy, is he gone?
