heavener still gets the edge but theyve both aged off me a lot

Have always thought this was better than Heavener despite the bad cleans

I like the cleans on this more. The cleans are a little bit too clean on Heavener.

Its weird. The cleans on Heavener are better but the vocal melodies themselves are so meh. The hooks on here are written way better.

Well put. The choruses are a lot catchier here.

Yeah Jeet got it right on. Thats why I want them to re-do it. Just need him to hit the notes

his melodies on heavener are good and def better than they are here, its more them using the same key for all of them blurs the patterns more than if they mixed their tunings up

Brightwing is the closest thing to a Ben era song we’re going to get in terms of writing style

still not sure how to feel about this iteration of Invent Animate.
I like this & Heavener to some extent, but something about the melodies and song structures don't feel as interesting.. They still bring the riffs though. Maybe one day it will click

I agree with that take. I just still dig it. It’s not as good to me, but still great

Greyview > Heavener

Did a relistening of both Greyview and Heavener recently. Surprised a few of you also prefer Greyview over Heavener. I feel like the Heavener clean parts are too clean, causing the transitions from harsh to clean parts to be too samey. Greyview's clean parts better integrate into the songs and still kept interesting textures and elements flowing imo.
