It’s madness that beautiful skeletons is even more devastating.
Biggest loss ever.

I do still prefer this album as a whole piece to Skeletons but the atmosphere of that album is even better, Gav is best when its just him with little embellsihment. Songs like "Loud Crowd", "Swing Low", and "Animal" are amazing as they are but the more simple arrangements of Beaut Skeletons fit Gav to a tee.

Couldn’t agree more bone. I also prefer this but the fact remains that Gav conveys a special something and whatever it is that he does whether it be over produced or minimal lo-if is unmatched tbh. It’s the simple power of being normal.

I just love all the different places it hits in the second half, the melodies/sound didn't hit me as much in the first half though I'm sure the lyrics will the more I listen to them

Been wanting to spin this recently, will have to do so soon. Great autumn album.

Honestly this album fits with any time of the year imo, though I particularly associate it with late winter/early spring because that was when I first checked it (February 26, 2016)

You have to listen to it on a weekend or it's 100 years bad luck.
Just look what happened to me.
