agreed, when i'm feeling at my worst this album's always able to get through. these guys have the richest, fullest, strongest sound of any ska punk band ever in that there's so little air or empty space in the instrumental mix; it's just packed with sound at every register and rarely lets up. in addition, jeff's vocals are insanely penetratingly cathartic.

amazing bands but none of their albums ever seemed as purposeful as this one imo

it sounds like some fucking dumb hipster label cuz they cant stand calling something they like "ska"

people who think ska's a dirty word seriously haven't listened to streetlight. while there's a million other amazing powerful brilliant ska bands that i could reference, streetlight are probably the only one that was really, truly both intelligent and mature (mostly in regards to their composition), and were thereby able to single-handedly prove that the genre could be both of those things.
