not at all

as for people "turning" on metallica, that happened 5 years later with the whole napster thing. even when this came out, the butthurt was more because of their aesthetics and how they presented themselves than the quality of the songs.

Between this and Reload, we have over two-and-a-half hours of material. You can fit 5 early Beach Boys albums into the running time of these two CD's.

Just think about it...

House That Jack Built riffs too hard.

Album has its moments, Reload is worst Metallica tho.

Reload is really boring, but St. Anger is actively unpleasant.

Whatever, this album still rules. I remember being like eleven years old, headbanging in front of the TV to the "Until It Sleeps" video. And not to mention all the nostalgia feels I get to "Hero Of The Day"

Where's Desdinova when you need him?

Haven't jammed this and Rechoad for a while... should I even bother?

If you're old school die-hard metal, I would say no. But if you want some bluesy-sometimes metal-basically alternative with a tiny country tinge, then yeah I would say go for it.

I just want more cheese in my metal ;(

Don't have a problem with the content, rather the length. That makes Choad and Rechoad a boring and forgettable experience

Well, personally Load is a lot better than Reload. To me, Reload is just the cutting room floor of Load sans maybe 2 or 3 songs.

Either way, they thought it was a good idea to have jizz as the album art.

"this album is 100% the point where the majority of people turned on this band"
This is Metallica's 3rd best selling album of all time, so...
