btw have you listened to devotion? well you weren't as big of a fan of vital iirc but a lot of the additional tracks on devotion are pretty great

production on vital irked me but the songs kicked ass live so i'll give it another jam

yeah exactly, it's like "vital+". the studio versions of the vital songs are the same so i guess you'll still have that issue with the production. but it has 4 b-sides + 3 original tracks.



5 of those tracks are among the top 8 tracks in all of devotion imo so it's a definite improvement, but i also have a preference towards their mid-tempo stuff which almost all of the additions are.

i'd say this is undeniably better than vital except maybe for the length (but when almost every song is top notch then length isn't as big a problem) so it has to be at least a 4.5 for me. but at the same time not really sure it hit me enough to be a 5? ugh decisions
