I agree, just saying that's not the case with me here.

“not that the song received exposure, it was made for that purpose, which is the problem"

Lmao who gives a shit about why it was made? Some of the best songs of all time were made from people that wanted to “sell out".

that should be why you give a shit, music made in bad conscious should be viewed as such and totally disagree with our last statement, or at least I try to find music that was made for pure reasons, not to sell or to get play on MTV in the day, that is usually better

Sorry wham bro, I'm a guilty disgrace!

I was on the fence when it came out, but than I realized it was great and got over the 'change' so-to speak. It's an important record of the 90's I don't have any ill-will towards it. They wanna sell-out? Whatever, I'm not making money for listening to it; as long as it's good I don't care what their intentions are it's none of my business. Guaranteed, if it was under a different pen name people's jimmies wouldn't be ruffled.

what's so impure about making a hit song? Stop trying to make this some sort of moral issue.

I used to really like this album but I just find it so boring now.

Through the Never and Of Wolf and Man are awesome though.

"what's the matter if a song receives exposure ? it's still a great song regardless"

well, the thing is it's not a great song. just an awful cliché-raping ballad

it's a good song, just overplayed beyond belief.....doesn't need to be one of the longest songs on the record either......i think its placement on the album is perfect

I don't think there is a tune here I dislike; there's highlights, but very solid work through out.

Great ballads, but yes I've heard them a thousand times ha-ha. I like the little bit at the end of Nothing Matters very tasteful, length is fine.

7 minutes for your pleasure, I'm just bustin' that's why the radio edits it.

Hardwire... that's an album that really needs the hedge clippers.
