sikth. It's a tech-metal band. They recently called it quits I believe. They're actually pretty good.

Can you faggots keep your fucking girl talk out of this thread? Jesus christ. And yeah it sounds similar to SikTh, doesn't make it a rip-off. Most of Bloodmeat is based around a pretty common samba rhythm.

Yeah Coke, that rhythm near the beginning isn't really the part that I was talking about, although it is also similar to the song I was talking about. I was mainly referring to the tapping interlude, which I think is almost identical to Skies.

Normally I don't really care about this sort of thing, but the opening rhythm and the tapping part together make it seem somewhat questionable.

Plus the guitarist is wearing a SikTh shirt in the video for the song, so I know they at least know who they are.

listened to both this and kezia and a calculated use of sound

calculated use of sound was meh......ok nothing special.......kezia was amazing......fortress.....just doesnt seem as good.....i love both of those albums....but kezia still seems better to me...maybe because i have ahd so little tiem to sit down and truely focus on thsi album liek i did with kezia but it seems some of the songs tend to run together....soundign no different then the previous track...though bone marrow and blood meat are both amazing.....as is palms read.....just nothing else seems to stand out...they all kinda run together while on kezia each song stood out.....the vocals are a big improvment on this album though. rody's singing/screaming/growling has gotten a lot better
