not to pick nits, but I really really don't consider mudvayne nu-metal. I think the general consensus around here is it was part of that period, but pretty obviously transcends. A lot of great albums from that time are unfairly tagged or overlooked. I've been trying to get people to listen to Pulse Ultra since I've been on this site, as it suffered the same fate.

Death Blooms, Internal Primates and - 1 are so damn good.
Probs the best out and out Nu-Metal album ever.

"Internal Primates" and "Pharmaecopia" are underrated.

Nobody underrates Internal Primates it's unanimously considered one of the best songs here and in the wider genre.

That pig sounding bass break in the bridge gets me every time. Song fucks.

"Nobody underrates Internal Primates it's unanimously considered one of the best songs here and in the wider genre."
I have rarely heard people discuss it in a regard as high as Death Blooms, -1, and a couple others. Obviously underrate means not held as high as it should, so separate from people saying it's good, I haven't heard as much praise as I feel like it deserves. Simple statement.

YO I CALLED 7sloth before I clicked and I was right!
Yeah, he's awesome. He had a band for a while too, forget the name but he also did vox.

I like the band's choice of being less technical with every album.
This album: Yeah....too technical
The end of all things: Still too technical, we need to be more accesible
Lost and found: No dammit, we need to be more POPPISH
The new game: Ok that was too poppish
Self-titled: I think we need to go back to our roots...

Dig somehow sucks and rules simultaneously, weird.

I think it's liking the swearing and lyrics in general as a teen, and then finding them cringe when you grow up, but the music still goes.
