Facts. I'm sure there are decent people out there with face tats (probably recovering from their dumbass era) but every single one ive met is either a complete dumbass or huge prick. My company uses temp agencies during high volume and we've had probably 10-15 guys with face tattoos. Every single one of them was a piece of shit

I mean I'm sure he's a virtuoso and very talented, but was more asking if he was a good songwriter. I'm not a huge fan of his related artists listed on here and some of the bands he's worked with in the past, so I'm curious how his solo stuff sounds and if it'd complement mastodon's sound.

I saw a live video of him and granted, 1 minute isn't an indicator of someones talent but i was not impressed at all. I'm not saying he's a bad player but it seemed like he really didn't fit in well with the band.

TBF:
a) As far as I'm aware, they haven't publicly confirmed a full-time replacement.
b) NO-ONE could effortlessly walk-in to a unit 20+ years together, replacing someone so integral to the sound, songwriting and attitude of the band seamlessly, without a significant period of transition.
And c) As evidenced, a semi-functioning sloth would be a greater asset to the band than the current version of Brent Hinds.
