As I said before, the biggest problem I have with Phoebe is her vocal style. The songwriting is good, but I don't get any emotional response from her singing and her voice just sounds monotonous to me. It's the one hangup that's preventing me from enjoying her music on a deeper level, which is kind of a problem considering her vocals are a big part of the music in general

The fact that you don't have to doesnt appear to be stopping you

There was admittedly a level of intrigue in her general aesthetic (and I am 100% not talking about musical aesthetic) until I read that interview. I thought maybe she was a cool person and then I read that and realized that she has approximately the same intellectual depth and cognitive capacity of my partners 22 year old sister who has approximately the same intellectual depth and cognitive capacity of your average 16 year old.
