Anyone whod ditch CoL playing a golden riff for an hour to even glance at some shitty distrubed set for the lolz has invalid taste imho. These guys could play a set unplugged and fish-bowl-eye drunk and id still probably love it tho.

Lmao... In my defence there were only like 12 people at their stage at that point in the night. I will say they had the atmospherics down; when they just stood onstage for 15 minutes behind a fog machine before actually starting, that was suspenseful.

It's ok guys, 'Artiswar' called part of QOTSA's 'Era Vulgaris' a defining moment in their discography, I don't like to judge taste so early on but... seriously?

We love the same band yet you take issue with me because I like one part of an album over another. Really splitting hairs there buddy guy.

I have more of an issue with the Disturbed over CoL thing, I'm not a huge CoL fan (yet) but like/love what I've heard & that just seems like a strange decision. Admittedly, I just remembered the QOTSA thing & used it against you, for a reason I now can't remember...

Disturbed were the first heavy band I ever listened to so there is a nostalgia factor there. I stayed for like half of Luna's set, I gave them a fair shot but they weren't that good. We only watched Disturbed for like 10 minutes then headed out, it was the end of the night and we had just sat through 8 hours of metal, including Napalm Death so... Anything after that was going to be underwhelming tbh.

CoL are able to craft an amazing atmosphere live like almost no other band but i can see that it might not work as well on a festival.

still tho, fuck you

Leaving CoL for Disturbed

I saw dozens of bands that weekend and CoL were one of the few letdowns. There were like 12 people left watching their set when I walked away. It doesn't give me any pleasure to say that, I had been looking forward to seeing them.

Even though leaving a Cult of Luna set is fuckin stupid I have to agree with them being a bit disappointing live as of lately
