I just realized what this album reminded me of and it's The Always Open Mouth by Fear Before the March of Flames, it doesn't go as hard as that but the kind of burnt to a crisp atmosphere and the whisper like vocals contrast with screams. - end tangent -

This and Pale Horses are their best albums tbh. Always felt the early stuff was overrated.
Also, these guys continue to put up some of the most tasteful guitar tones in any genre. Great production job on this.

Idk I feel this lacks as much cohesion as Pale Horses lacks variety. Whereas Brother, Sister is an example of both, he said as he still had PH and Untitled at 4.5.
