Bro those are two of the worst songs on Dusk tho
Single Tear and Arkhipov Calm is where it's at

Just listened to PTES and WFCC back to back to make sure I still had the same opinion and yea, WFCC is an improvement in every way. Better performances and production, more experimental bits, and has the advantage of being written as a full-length rather than just a collection of 7”s

@Wildcard I considered puttin Arkhipov on there.... maybe it actually belongs. Eye of the Quarrel is just plain ol Converge fun and Broken by Light is just awesome, it has the emotion and the riffs and always leaves me wanting more of it.

^exactly. Few of the not-by-the-numbers songs on here really grab me as the more standard material does
Single Tear is like a Last Light / Aimless Arrow mashup but it just doesn't have the same impact
The Dusk In Us is magical and emotional but I need to be in the right mood for it
Murk and Marrow is a bit bland
Trigger is just not my favorite style of music
Thousands of Miles is nice but not my favorite

Dunno guys I think the title track is easily the best off this record. The title track from the previous one is also amazing, as is Eve

Thanks for the list Lelle- I'll definitely check them out.
A Single Tear is monumental... the video is something else as well.
Anyone else think that when he screams 'A sin-glee tearrr' it also sounds like: 'I'll take you down!'?

Yeah. Saddest Day. Oh wait, it is. Seriously though I could’ve picked loads of others, that’s probably my personal favourite.

Kinda feel like Aaron's vocals are too deep and brutal for that style.
