people who have the album already say it flows together as one song and there's a lot of recurring melodies and motifs. it's not just them lazily reusing a melody.

That's a relief. Also, that concept sounds intriguing/amazing.

The track sounds like an opener. I was expecting some big explosion halfway through or at the end, but it never came, but it sounds like with it flowing directly into the first single that it could work in the context. Not losing hope in the album being phenomenal, but definitely let down by the single.

keel timing is cool, but yeah super curious to see how everything will fit together on the full album

In the e-mail from MO about the release for Keel Timing it states that the new song serves as a prequel to Bed Head. So maybe that's why these two songs pack the same feeling sound wise.

^ the prequel thing makes me feel a lot better about it. I enjoy it, it just isnt spectacular.

I once had a girl
Or should I say she once had me
She showed me her room
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?
She asked me to stay
And she told me to sit anywhere
So I looked around
And I noticed there wasn't a chair
I sat on a rug biding my time
Drinking her wine
We talked until two and then she said
"It's time for bed"
She told me she worked
In the morning and started to laugh
I told her I didn't
And crawled off to sleep in the bath
And when I awoke I was alone
This bird had flown
So I lit a fire
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

if the album really is filled with motifs and recurring melodies, it almost makes me wish the whole album dropped at once instead of sporadic singles... ah it’s Covid tho, can’t blame artists for marketing themselves

I am listening to the million masks of god right now

I'm bound by both legal agreement and my own ethics not to disclose anything about the album itself until release date, but I will say this much: I'm basically crying. Holy shit.

Can you clarify and at least tell us whether they are happy or sad tears you are crying? Or else you are just pure evil for saying anything at all.

I mean, you shouldnt feel that bad ... Cope (and Hope) were not very strong, so it is possible for the mighty to stumble a little bit!
