Took me a long time before I got to the point where I could get through a Tool album without getting bored. This album was responsible for my initial resistance because of all the long ass interludes.

personally call their earlier stuff alt metal and their newer stuff prog metal.
And yes The Grudge does kick ass. My favorite part is the final minutes when everything just explodes.
