Reflection always reminds me of King Crimson, mostly because of the percussion used.

Definitely agree. Especially on tracks from the Discipline era, where Bruford would use african slit drums, high-pithed toms, samples and what not. Alot of similarities.

Yep. I believe he also stated once that Bruford is his main influence in drumming overall, which is cool. No matter how much i love Danny's playing, Bruford is just a fucking legend, seriously.

Yeah definitely, the track ''The Sheltering Sky'' on Discipline is a very good example here.

I agree, I love how versatile his drumming is, just listen to Red and Discipline, it's his style, but there's a big difference.

Yeah, he's just a beast, and there's an even better showcase of versatility imo when you compare his KC work with his drumming on early Yes albums

Thanks for the link, Faceless. Funny, how he likes the title track the most, because that's my favorite as well.

Yep thats a great interview.

I, being a drummer, especially like the amount of discipline(heh) and control that Bruford has in his drumming. Such a light touch, completely on the beat in pretty much everything he plays. And he never overplays either, every note is exactly where it should be.
