I started Rational Gaze to compare the two and now I'm just listening to orange again. I do crave the crunch of those seven strings even though the re-recording sounds sweet.

As far as era, I’m really partial to the I EP (2004) up through Koloss (2012), so no surprise Blue crushes orange for me. (Everything in the discog is still solid at worst though)
