i don't even know what that means, they don't 'go nowhere', they progress and build as an Agalloch song should and 'do nothing'? huh?

By go nowhere I mean they progress but for no ultimate purpose or worthy climax. If you take a song like "In The Shadow..." you realize that it gently builds momentum for that crescendo around 12 minutes, whereas with "Into The Painted Grey" the riffs build but offer no suitable reward for their effort. And by do nothing I mean the riffs suck.

i think the riffs are really great, and I think the last few minutes are a worthy climax. i just think the mixing ruins the song a bit.
