I didn't mention what the album was about, coz I'm pretty sure Toon gets it haha

"Is the Catalyst and the intro the reason why it gets a 2? haha"

Pretty much. I still think MTM is slightly worse though.

How most people see Load is how I see this album, so I feel like I should give this another shot.

Way more thought went into this than load. This is not a collection of radio singles

This is worse than Load, and Reload for that matter.

Load and Reload have some great songs just like this does but are kind of lackluster as a whole.

On a side note, has anyone else looked through the liner notes of load (or reload I can't remember)? If you want a quick laugh, have a look at some of the promotional photos they did

How's the thread been objected to Linkin Park, Metallica comparisions?

Blackout and Wretches and Kings are pretty decent tracks though.

Blackout is amazing, possibly LPs best song

It's definitely the best song on this album at least, but best LP song? I can't agree with that.

The Catalyst might be best Linkin Park tbh. I never got the hype from their early albums.

Krwlng is their best song ever. That's not even an argument.

Blackout, Mark the Graves and A Line are probably their best songs ever.

The first two albums are great but you can't really pick a best song as they are pretty much all the same song. I guess Lying From You is my fave from those albums

CRAAAAAAWLING just makes me cringe nowadays

Blackout is not bad but is not close to be one of the best LP songs

A line in the sand, A place for my head, my december, breaking the habit, mark the graves, with you, runaway, one step closer, cure for the itch, the remix of points of authority and the little things are superior.

Compared to the rest of the album blackout is intense as fuck, album is not bad by any means because is cohesive and songs like blackout, wretches and kings, catalyst and burning in the skies are well constructed but is far from being exciting, beside robot boy and messenger are dreadful

Waiting for the end is not bad but is far from being something exciting imo, chester's voice in that song reminds me the softest songs of sugar ray and mr big, but I have to recognized that the electronic insturmentation is well done, also mike's lyrics here are well constructed

Waiting for the end is great. It was so emotional listening to this song at one point in my life.
