Countdown and Youthanasia are close for me. 90's Megadeth was the better out of the three, but Seasons In The Abyss; that's all I have to say.

Anyone else experience a strong desire to hear To Live Is To Die whenever Nothing Else Matters starts playing?

what's the matter if a song receives exposure ? it's still a great song regardless

not that the song received exposure, it was made for that purpose, which is the problem

To the people that were comparing 90s thrash metal heavy weights - has everyone forgot that Seasons In The Abyss is also a 1990 album?

@Mike

So, let's say you listen to a song that you yourself discovered. You enjoy it. Next day it receives airplay. It's becoming a big hit. You just stop listening ?

Pretty much every Metallica ballad is a huge hit on rock radio. It has literally nothing to do with my dislike for the song. Just so happens that the one that is easily the worst is arguably their most popular song after Sandman, and is the one that is 100% garunteed to be played at every Metallica show.
