This is prob young Jens at his most furious, yeah

New age Jens best vocal performance is prob Koloss, even though that album is generally a bit lower on my list

Not jammed this one in a while, will go back today.

Corridors and Cyanide Christ are classics, I remember that much.

Corridors and Cyanide are my two favorites for sure, I can listen to those songs on repeat and literally will never lose that high energy those songs give me

Rest of the album is a banger too, but yeah those two are the champs

“New age Jens best vocal performance is prob Koloss”

man that’s surprising i think it’s his worst lol. he sounds so strained at times on that record. i think Immutable is his best post-Obzen

TVSOR he sounded very strained, but with that album being recorded live essentially it has its own weird charm.

@trilo - I dunno man, in I Am Colossus he sounds like a monster to me, same with the highs later on the track in Behind The Sun

TVSOR he sounds incredibly strained on songs like Born in Dissonance, but in general I like that album more than Koloss

Immutable I think is his second best post obZen performance, he sounds fucking awesome on that album

Also Immutable is like top 3 Meshuggah for me (basically tied with Nothing atm)

he tries those higher screams on Koloss and it just sounds super rough. TVSOR i like his performance a teeny bit better but still strained there. sounds great on Immutable though. pandemic must’ve done a lot for his voice

Jens has sounded pretty similar on everything from Nothing onwards for me, so it's hard to distinguish massively between each of his performances since tbh.

the aging process was far more gradual for jens than other vox from other bands who sound great early on then are like wut the fvck happened
