I mean if Vinnie Paul asks band members of relatively small-mid tier bands to get together and do something, you prolly fuckin' do it.

Just listened one song of the self titled and I thought they were returning to that old sound.

Not that linkin park - wannabe sound in the new game.

Been listening to Death Blooms a lot lately. I think this'll continue to grow on me. The more I listen to it, the more I appreciate the bass and the proggy rhythms

One of their best songs for sure. Nothing to Gein and Internal Primates Forever are batshit good too. Nothing can beat Severed though. Probably Mudvayne’s best song period.

The first time I listened to Death Blooms around 10 years ago, it absolutely blew my mind. Still has the same effect tbh.

Same, for the most part. I listened to NIN, Tool, Deftones, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Slipknot etc — still listen to every one of them. I don’t really listen to Limp Bizkit anymore though, except on the rare occasion for a nostalgia trip.

I didn't get into nu metal until after I was listening to black metal. It was before me so I don't have any nostalgia for it either. Some of it is legitimately great, and LD50 is a prime example
