Pygmalion and this are pretty different. Pygmalion relies more on repetition and minimalism where this relies on a dreamier more traditionally shoegazy atmosphere.
I dig what pygmalion does more so i prefer it but thats no slight against this

Those two albums are so hard to compare to each other but are both 5's to my ears
I can completely understand why some people don't like Pygmalion as much, but I in general I love more psychedelic minimal stuff, and that mixed with Slowdive's hints of gaze just creates a classic for me.
