sub genres aside, this is genuinely one of the best rock albums of the past twenty years, it's aged incredibly well

There's a lot of stuff I loved back in high school that I cringe when revisiting today. This isn't one of them. I'm amazed at how well this has held up over the years. There are a few songs I don't care much for, and at even moments I genuinely dislike, but on the whole this thing is still incredible. Makes me wonder what I'll think of it in another 10 or 20 years.

Think I said as much elsewhere, but yeah I agree completely… this didn’t just age getter than I expected, it actually surpassed all previous memories of it
This has aged incredibly, almost unfathomably well, tbh. Almost sounds modern / current even now. Greatness. Truly.

i still love this but theres a couple lyrics i sorta cringe at but only barely. they have a sort of 'we live in a society!!!' feel

Yeah true, but then listening to lyrics is generally bad for your health

Eh. I would say trying to Identify with all lyrics is generally bad for your health. I read and hear lyrics these days with guarded interest unless it's a band I'm familiar with and expecting more poetry or something positive in general

High as a horse is great lyrically and in any other aspect as well

I fuck with the lyrics in a nostalgic way, partly because I connected with their messages more in my youth I guess.
I imagine the rest of this simply doesn’t need those rose-tinted specs. To be fair separating / isolating nostalgic feelings cannot be entirely possible.

Board Up The House is a lot of fun, I would recommend it if you can handle a bit of / are intrigued by 'cybergrind'
|

Bored of the Horse is silly but probably nostalgically good if you have nostalgia for it. Cybergrind in general is some patchy jank

Oh yeah, I wouldn't recommend the wider genre, lol
