Yeah agreed, 3 bland riffs over and over again, with a useless ambient doodle that goes nowhere

At least Shallow's riffs half a tiny bit more movement to 'em and they take up half the time

I honestly don't remember this at all... really thought I'd listened to this song but it's not ringing any bells... might just be that it's kind of meh though I don't know

he's talking about PCs and cellphones though and that's close enough to Xbox I might have to turn this off

Shallow's not good either, there's like 4 and a half good songs on this and almost all of them are in the second half

is this the band Anathema decided they were gonna try to be when they stopped making doom metal albums?

Lol Anathema got here first. 90s Porcupine Tree is way more psychedelic than this stuff, and way way better

ahh lol I was gonna say "or is it the other way around" I guess they made that change back in the 90s... I haven't heard any 90s Porcupine Tree yet

In Absentia is cool, Bald Penis is exactly that

cannot agree about t/t here. the buildup is incredibly satisfying, very suspenseful and the falling synth behind the metal riffs creates an almost harrowing feeling. great track

@kalk the t/t sucks...are you mad?

The only bad song on here is probably Halo, that chorus is bleeeggghhhh.

T/t is one of the best things Wilson has done, but Arriving is king of course. This album was unfortunately when he started singing during the metal parts, which his voice doesn’t quite match. One of the reasons Blackest Eyes is perfect.

Open Car's chorus falls flat on its face too.
