Loving the really atmospheric soundscapes it creates, and the dichotomy between the more ethereal, ambient moments and the outbursts of heaviness and harsh vocals.

Yeah dude, those moments when those rhythmic drums kick in against the wall of sound guitars, ugh. Some of my favorite moments in music this year. The first time it happens in Dream House took me aback.

So happy this was released. It's got all the unfettered emotion you'd associate with black metal, but some of that emotion is actually positive, which makes it relatable. Great band, amazing album.
