How can you help lower the average if you don't rate it
|

I would but I only heard half and it was so lame even upon release

But this is a cruel world and this album does exist

wonder if a mainstream rock or punk band will ever release an album like this again. like where they are the biggest band on the planet, for its cycle anyway.
no longer sure what to rate this.

It's definetly not bad, but I don't like this band very much tbh. The singles off this are fun and I like the drumming though. The vocals not so much

never really bought the whole, "we had an album but it got stolen, so we recorded this instead" story. I mean how convenient that its a mainstream atom bomb, pop punk opera.

Nah it's been confirmed that some of the songs off Bullet In a Bible were from C&V and of course RevRad has a song that was reworked from that era (I think it was Youngbloods)

And yeah they decided to take more risks instead of a largely safe playing pop-punk album ala Insomniac.

Not a big fan of GD but really like this album. Problem is that too many songs got overplayed and this was just overexposed in general, leading to quite a bit of backlash.

a band that throws a trio of albums out within a year can throw songs out to cover their story. still think its bs.

Well then its a long running con if its bs

Green Day is like the Metallica of their subgenre, both in how they helped shapes it and brought it to mainstream attention but then abandoned it to go as mainstream as possible

Makin dat money.

Only Green Day album I could ever get into.

I still think Nimrod is better tbh

Nimrod is the only punk era Green Day I really enjoy. Kerplunk is good too

I need to revisit their discography, at least everything before this. Everything after is pretty awful.
