Album has aged extremely well. It defined my middle school years, then I hated it as I entered my metal elitist years, and seeing their red jumpsuit shows lately has reminded the genius of this band in their self titled/Iowa days.

haha same here for me. i think most go through that progression.

Yep. The fact an album this heavy got such mainstream attention in 2001 says it all. Excellent.

Bruh I could've sworn this and the debut had like barely 3 averages back in the day lol. These averages are more like it. Haven't jammed this one in over a decade but the debut still slaps every now and then.

The averages did used to be piss poor, Hawks. I think the masses here are realizing the hate was not reasonable. This is one of the few classic records from the era and style.

Actually I recall Subliminal Verses was higher than ST and Iowa which perplexed me even back then. The ship has been righted though as ST and Iowa are higher.

A lot of nu metal has been undergoing a similar reevaluation on here. Hybrid Theory used to be around a 3.2-3.3 or something like that, and now it's all the way up to a 3.7 (and about to reach 3.8 according to the chart)

Yep. Most of the era was trash but there were definitely a batch of bands worth a fuck. Flaw’s Through the Eyes record is still one of my favorite albums ever too.

Apparently Joey and Paul wrote most of this album. Those dudes were the heart of this band I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. RIP

yeah joey for sure never got a lot of credit for his writing, i think he wrote on roadrunner united too
