For me, it's the sound of Radiohead finally realizing how important and good they are, and that they could release anything and still people would love it. I've loved everything they've done before this, but it's like Kid A and Amnesiac with no purpose, no good songs, just bleeping bull shit. Yorke must have been on acid.

But most of this isn't electronic, and it's great

And there's nothing wrong with writing an album on acid

Difference of opinion, and I agree on the acid. But here, the acid makes Radiohead sound terrible as fuck.

If you actually analyze some of the songs on this album, you''ll find that there are quite complex and well thought out arrangements.

Little By Little in particular has some brilliant progressions.

I have a feeling we're only going to see Radiohead get more and more electronic from this point onward. I mean, obviously it's not something that they're new to, but Thom's been DJing and collaborating with people like Burial, Four Tet, and FlyLo, and then there's the TKOL remix series... all signs point to moar dubstep.

^^^ I see what you're saying, but then what do you consider the almost-jazzy guitar work on Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief?

i went to my friends house and all i heard was crazy tribal drumming coming out of his house and he couldn't hear the door so i called him to open up the door and he did and he was listening to radiohead with the lights off with glow lights and i was all like what and he was all like i just masturbated and was all like typical radiohead fan

Um...In Rainbows anyone?

Yeah, In Rainbows has much more guitar, especially when compared to this, and is way better as well. Hell, even Hail To The Thief has much more guitar than this, I'd say.
