"whoa that’s the spirit damn surprising" follow you and avalanche are two of my fav songs, i shamelessly love the radio rock formula on that one

This is definitely their best. The impact on the deathcore/metalcore scene at the time was insane

I remember hating this when it came out but man has this grown on me over the years lol. Easily my favorite from them.

still is pretty unique. fairly equal blend of metalcore, deathcore and post-hardcore. can't think of many albums that sound quite like this one.

This is definitely better than I remember it being. Totally forgot how much I love the t/t, damn. Forgot the song period, really has been awhile since I listened to this.

Raising to a 3, could be a 3.5 with a few more listens. The t/t alone makes me want to 3.5 it. The first half (give or take) is really strong, but the 2nd half lags a bit before ending strongly with the t/t.

That melody at the end of the T/T is absolutely immense. The build to it is definitely longer than it needs to be but god damn does it hit when it finally arrives.

It’s incredible man. One of their best. Hard to say whether I’d call it or hospital for souls their best closer.

Crucify Me is bar none their best opener though.

“hell yeah larkin. it's honestly one of my favorite songs ever.”

Same. I can’t stop listening to it lately.

And I’ve spun this a bunch more times in full the past few days, and landed on a 3.5. Much more solid than I remember it being.

Also re-listened to TIAH and…don’t like it quite as much as I remember?? Gonna leave at a 3.5 for now, I need to listen more. Been a couple years since I listened in full. Just feels like it has pacing issues, way overlong at 52 mins and starts to sound pretty same-y at times. Crucify Me is still phenomenal though (nothing that follows can even hope to measure up) + It Never Ends and blessed with a curse are still great. Also like Fuck a lot more than I remember.

I used to detest this band but after revisiting a lot of their albums I have re-evaluated my opinion of them.

The Comedown goes very hard.
