Haven't listened to the whole thing yet but so far it sounds pretty dark, seems like a companion album to Serpent.

it sounds kind of akin to Marrow imo from what I've heard. It's got that amateurish Agalloch sound to it, but in a definitively more black metal context. It's still clearly from the guy from Agalloch tho, whispered harsh-ish vox and all. From the little I've heard I'd say it's a less-good-ish Marrow-ish record bc of the obvious influence on the black metal side.
