Ate at a british restaurant tonight.
Now I empathize with zak's generally unpleasant demeanor.
That food was wack.

Pretty sure they aren't a thing tbh, at least not in Britain

British food? Chicken Tikka Masala was voted the nations favourite dish lol
British people don't really eat 'British food', not sure what that'd be - steak and kidney pie? Welsh rarebit? Haggis? Sounds suss

Pub grub
A cuisine has hundreds of dishes
There are only about thirty well known 'British' dishes
Then you get down to yer 'game pie's and 'haunch of venison' which no one has regularly eaten since Henry VIII

Brits are only behind the Aussies in terms of adopting the food of other nations
Chinese and Indian takeaways are now seen as being as British as a fish n' chips or pie shops - and there'll be a lot more of the former two than the latter two in the country now. Kebab houses are even more prevalent

You can get swan beak pasties and glottlerolls at the Greggs here.

I'll take a swan beak, sounds crunchy
Fucking Greggs, put on about two stone when that was the closest place to the office to pick up lunch
Surprised they don't fill donuts with mayonnaise .

Better than Percy Ingles though. I swear that place is doing a Sweeny Todd. The sausage rolls are pulped human flesh I'd bet me mortgage on it.

Still sounds better than where I live. My choices are 7 different pizza shops, and 2 different Chinese places. Oh, and Burger King.
I love pizza, and I love Chinese, but I also need variation.
I tend to cook more often than not, but if I feel like being a lazy bum, I want more options in my life.

There's a pretty good Italian place in Moosic. Can't remember the name of it... but I remember it was really good. Kinda pricy, but I guess you get what you pay for.
