Hunters is just alright tbh. Not an outstanding song whatsoever. Bladecatcher is fun but barely a song and more of a crazy jam

CtS is a bit too proggy for my liking. Amazing album don't get me wrong, but Remission has really grown on me and brings more of that raw energy from these dudes that I just love. Plus Mother Puncher I mean c'mon.

Thus far in my run I’m going CtS>this>Remission>Leviathan and then Sun slightly over Hunter
But the first four are all great, it’s very close between them. Crack the Skye just hits it tho, right out of the gate AND to end (I wouldn’t say the last couple tracks on any of the prior three does it entirely for me, and I actually think the long song on Leviathan drags it down)

Sleeping Giant is easily my favorite Mastodon track of all time. The way the acoustic and electric guitar come in together on that one is so damn eargasmic it's not even funny. Really wish they had more moments that hit me like that one in their discography
