“ scenecore of rap”
😨
|
| |
-annoying zoomer fanbase
-lyrics about self-loathing/misanthropy
-poppier/emo-tinged variant of main genre
-goth-adjacent whiteboi fashion
-popular on the internet
|

As the resident scenecore king of sput I think that comparison is accurate on paper but doesn’t have the same charm in sound

I can't actually think of any scenecore bands that this rule applies to, but it feels right
|
| |
"have the same charm in sound"
scenecore is raging sexual frustration / eversince is crippling E.D. so in this sense also agreed
|
| |
ig i get what you mean but i think bladee has a lot of charm as a vocalist tbh. i suppose i wouldn't call the disaffected performance on the earlier stuff "charming" but he's grown a lot on "the fool" and "spider"
still love the "eversince" vocal style tho
