its stupid but its catchy. problem is i find mixtape annoying. so regardless of its strengths, if it annoys me then ill just never want to listen to it. cars isnt a good song really but at least i dont mind it when its on so it beats out mixtape by default. i just dont like how his voice sounds on mixtape, which is a shame cause everything else about the song is fine
does he have an effect on his voice on mixtape or something? sounds robotic i cant gel with it. maybe its the robotic drum beat as well i duno. i prefer a more organic sound.

Yeah new album is the incredible for me so far. Starts pretty good and ends spectacularly. Better than Damage but I haven't decided how much better than Invented it is yet.

personally prefer Invented to it still, that record has better lyrics and more hooks imo, though this new one's mix and compositions are spectacular
briefly mentioned this with Futures the other day and I've come to the conclusion that aside from Clarity (a 5) and the '94 s/t and Damage (3s), every other Jimmy Eat World album is a solid 4 for me lol
