I mean they're all virtuosos but Spence just propels them to a whole nother level imo. Would Glassjaw be the same without Daryl Palumbo? Yeah, he's THAT important to the band in my eyes.

He's 100% essential to the band's identity as we all know it. They would be another band altogether with another vocalist.

Yeah yeah I get it haters. I wouldn't like them nearly as much as I do without Spencer. His melodies don't always work for me but when they do god damn do I love them, and imo he pretty much nailed it for the entirety of this album.

I really don't think he is, most of the time. All depends on what you're comparing to I guess. In general I don't like whiny vocalists, but I suppose there are many levels of "whine." Spencer is low tier imo. Anything remotely similar to say... Kellin Quinn, is what will effectively ruin any music for me.

Yeah he's on the low tier but he still has a bit of it. That's the little extra spark imo. Kellin Quinn isnt even all that whiny either he's just really high pitched and nasally. Try Francis Mark's level of whine and then get back to me lol
