I could see an argument MAYBE for it being more(?) simple at times??? I don't really agree with that thought and it really depends on what you're talking about. I don't ever really think I listened to Alcest because of how complex they are though lol. The songwriting on this is as good or better than all their other releases, imo.

Oh yeah I mean even their most “complex” isn’t really all that complex compared to other stuff. I think this has a lot more going on than a lot of their other stuff though which is why people thinking it’s lazy or has no substance is baffling to me.

its crazy how you pass by 10 minutes of music without even noticing, but in a good way, leaving with the feeling you wouldn't mind if the track continues 10 other minutes lol
