This is definitely Thom's most personal album.

And it's weird because most of the songs have been circulating around for a while.

Idk FlagAsh, I could also see The Bends being Thom's most personal.

Intimate might be a better word for this, but even that doesn't apply to all of the songs here.

Are you serious? Most of these songs seem to deal with his ended relationship...

I would think he chose to make them studio songs for this reason. Sorry you fail to see that.

Listened to this for the first time since release date, not feeling it as much. Daydreaming is still 10/10 tho

The Numbers, Present Tense, and Tinker Tailor are such growers. Fuck.

This gets better with every listen tbh

Like most of their albums

I still don't care for a few of the songs on here, but I never skip any, so there's that. Daydreaming is probably my SOTY at this point.

You should see the Daydreaming music video. Goes well nicely, makes the song a bit more depressing.

The album is finally on Spotify too. And not growing off me, probably still growing on my 5th listen. It's sonically quite complex leaving a lot of details to be appreciated many listens later.

my issue with the song is how the song starts losing its shit like its going to go into some big epic breakdown and then just trails off. you cant blue ball me like that.
