Sykes has gotten many kids in 2015 and 2016 to truly comprehend the meaning and beauty behind soaking full albums.
Put a new record in your compact disc player, put a nice meal or cheese and crackers on the nightstand, close your eyes, glass of milk in your hand, lay in bed, and just soak the music in
Soilwork - Stabbing the Drama
and
Soilwork - Sworn to a Great Divide
If you guys haven't soaked these records in, please do so.
By far Soilwork's best records. Think most of you would enjoy these records.
Talk to you guys soon.

A part of me wants to agree with Malachite
Though Sempiternal is prolly their "breakthrough" record (it still blows), this has stronger melodies and some tracks are legitimately fun
|
| |
Yes, chinesewhispers. I can tell you've soaked this record in.
I agree !!!

this is still pretty bad

Sempiternal is fucking great.
This on the other hand is bad.
|
| |
nah, this blows away Sempiternal
but in the end, it's all subjective
All opinion
All preference
Most people in my hometown like Sempiternal better. Had a huge parade through town, the day that record was released
But if you travel into the city, you'll notice mad buildings with That's the Spirit promotions, everyone wearing That's the Spirit tee shirts, and most people prefer That's the Spirit
So, really just difers from person to person
All I know is, on Christmas Day, when we were opening gifts, I put That's the Spirit on the stereo in the living room so fucking loud no one could even think straight, but I didn't care. By the time everyone soaked in True Friends, everyone was asking me what the record was and everybody bought a copy of the record.

On Christmas morning you could hear this record blasting so loud in my living room from like 500 feet down the road. Cops even came but they were big fans of That's the Spirit, too, so they didn't issue me a ticket of any sorts. They just asked "That's the new Bring Me the Horizon record, right?" And I smiled and replied "Yup". And they told me Merry Christmas and to have a good day. By the time we were having Christmas dinner, the record had played 7 times and my neighbors were out in the street dancing to That's the Spirit, waving and singing.

Doomed is this band's best song by a mile
True Friends is incredible, too

"Doomed is this band's best song"
Agreed
"True friends is incredible"
More like incredibly stupid
|
| |
True Friends is fucking awful but yeah Doomed is great
|

Album Rating: 3.0
Doomed is just this album's 5/5 song. Along with Throne maybe
Every BMTH album since TIAH has had at least one
|
| |
So two albums haha
The ex-candy kid in me likes Throne but it sounds a lot like Meteora-era LP if it came out in 2015

True Friends is shit. Throne is ok.
Sempiternal is still the shit tho.

Sempiternal is literally their only worthwhile album and even that is inconsistent
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
Bmth are probably one of the most inconsistent bands ever
|

Nothing wrong with Meteora. Great record back in 2003, great record still in 2016.
Was groundbreaking
You're probably just too young to have gone through the times when they were on top of the music galaxy
Soaked.
