yeah, new track still lacks grabbing power. and production is predictably poor.

I'm digging the new song. The production will remain a point of contention. They need someone like Tue Madsen or Jens Bogren who can do a modern and loud sound that's still pleasing, again.

Listened to it a few times and it’s okay. The chorus feels like it could have gone on a bit longer and added something.
The cage remake is pretty meh though.

Demon tries listening to a new DeG album but “couldn’t I just listen to Arche again?” challenge, level: impossible(?) hmm this has everything I want even if I do really enjoy (most) of what else I’ve heard

I donno if they'll ever top this era, even their other songs from this time sound peak live, like this rendition of Saku https://youtu.be/3iSkhVFFGeE
Kyo's vocals are next level.

uroboros-arche was peak, id even go as far as to say withering-arche is pretty incredible overall. the new stuff doesnt hit the same way, its good but it sounds a little 'bored' compared to this era which was lightning in a bottle for sure. funny that the era where they stripped down their visual aesthetic so much is also the most versatile and interesting musically
