Now that the hype has died down, it may be easier to listen to it and judge it fairly.

Yeah hopefully the hype has gone; like the first half of the people who rated were in the hype (so got bored on second listen) and the second half are a bunch of anti-hypers (listened to it once so they could feel cool by hating it): none of them objective really.

Still one of my favourite by the band because it's got most of their influences coined in a killer but uncohesive album although White Lights From the Mouths of Eternity is the best Swans record IMO.
